**Pro Tip:** For best results, select a maximum of 4-5 paragraphs at a time when fine-tuning. Selecting the entire article may result in partial or lower-quality output.

**Note:** The Smart Editor offers **free unlimited generations** as long as you have an active plan. **Fair usage policy applies**, and usage is logged to ensure compliance. **The AI Assistant is not available to trial users** and is exclusive to those with paid subscriptions, providing them with comprehensive editing and customization options.

## **Important Publishing Note**

When using the Smart Editor, it’s possible to make adjustments that introduce complex HTML structures into your content. This may cause issues if you directly publish the article to WordPress’s block editor. If you encounter any formatting problems, consider one of the following solutions:

-   Publish in **Classic Editor mode** in WordPress, which is more compatible with HTML-heavy content.
-   Use the **copy/paste method** to transfer the content, ensuring a cleaner format in the block editor.

**Accessing the Smart Editor**

Once your article is generated, you can access the Smart Editor by clicking the “Edit Article” button in the article details or article history menu. This will open the Smart Editor.

Next, selecting any part of the text will open the AI Assistant menu, including **Ask AI** and **AI Shortcuts**, displaying a variety of enhancement options to help you modify or expand your content effectively.

**AI shortcuts – Key Features**Make sure to select some text to enable the AI shortcuts menu.

1.  **Humanize Content**Make your text sound more natural and engaging by softening robotic phrasing.
2.  **Improve Readability**Simplify complex language for better accessibility, making your content easier to understand for a wide audience.
3.  **Improve Writing**Enhance the quality of your writing with clearer phrasing and grammar correction, giving it a polished, professional touch.
4.  **Optimize for NLP-Friendly**Adjust the content to an NLP-friendly style for improved ranking.
5.  **Remove AI Words**Clean up any AI-specific terms or repetitive language to give your content a more human feel. If an article is linked to a project, the Smart Editor will use the list of negative words marked as undesirable (AI words) from the project settings. If not, it will use the default set of AI words for refinement.
6.  **Split Paragraphs**Break up long paragraphs into shorter sections to make them easier to read on digital screens.
7.  **Summarize Content**Generate a quick summary of the selected section, which is helpful for creating overviews or concise descriptions.
8.  \*\*Change Point of View (POV)\*\*Adjust the perspective of your content to suit different voices:

-   **First Person Singular (I, Me)**
-   **First Person Plural (We, Our)**
-   **Second Person (You)**
-   **Third Person (They, Them)**

9.  This allows you to align your content’s tone with your audience or brand style.
10.  **Change Tone**Adapt the tone of your text for various situations. Choose from options such as:

-   **Casual** – For a more informal, relaxed feel.
-   **Confident** – For authoritative, assertive language.
-   **Direct** – For a clear, straightforward approach.
-   **Friendly** – For a warm, welcoming tone.
-   **Professional** – For a formal, polished style that suits business or official communication.

11.  **Continue Writing**Add more content while keeping the existing style, point of view, and flow consistent. Note: Do not select any text to use this feature.
